London the name that rings bells of Big Ben, a place full of long history by era, from Roman to the 20th century.  This historical city that like to keep its original look, bring many tourist from all over the world. The legends say that London was found by the Romans in AD 43 making their way in the country from Kent sailing on the River Thames and discovered Londinium the name given to today’s London by the Romans.  Romans built bridges, and constructing the roads connecting to the rest of the country.

Finding parts of the roman walls which was built around Londinium by the Romans to protect the city from invasion, shows evidence of the Roman London to date.

London city is one of the most popular city in the world and the biggest in Europe, which occupies over approx.  620  miles square.   It has the highest population in density in Britain of 4,699  miles per square kilometres and you will find the tallest building in London is the Canary Wharf Tower.  London city is the first to have an underground train service called the tube which was first it used in 1863.  London underground network is the quickest way to travel in the city which is made of 12 lines each having its own unique and colours for easy understanding.  There are other ultra natives for travelling in London one by traditional Black Cab  (taxi) which you will only found in London along with the Red Double Decker bus all three transport has became an icon of London.

Today there are many landmarks, monuments and historical building that can be viewed by many taking you back showing how London was once. The most popular attraction for those visiting London is the famous  Tower Bridge which splits open allowing big tall ships to pass by a must seen sight seen. Whilst there don’t forget to see The Tower of London now a museum and home of the famous crown jewel.  There are many museums and art galleries most of them are free giving you full information of London history, when visiting London on the very top of your list of places to see must be the very popular wax museum Madame Tussauds, where u will find a huge display of wax model of famous people around the world looking so real bring you face to face to those people that you may have just see in headline or television.  When taking a stroll by the River Thames why not take a ride on the London Eyes the big wheel showing the whole of London 55 most famous landmarks in 30 minutes.  Buckingham Palace home of the royal family not far located from the Whitehall where the famous guard changing takes place.

This busy city has a lot to offer from entertainment such as Westend Theatre, night club, shopping and dining. The two famous places for shopping are Oxford Street and Regent Street having all kinds of brands and labels for your need.   You will find many small shops and stalls selling souvenirs almost everywhere in the heart of London. There are Street entertainments for tourist attracting in Leicester square, where people show of the talent whether it is in the form of artist impression or dance shows not far from the famous Piccadilly Circus a busy square with attractive water fountain which was installed in the 19th century on this very on spot you can see the first illuminated billboards displaying varies advertisement creating London’s version of Times Square a beautiful view for photo snaps.
